it's interesting to me how the Alley and AEH eventually melded into a single entity, with AEH as the dominant influence. I think that's because AEH hit its peak later. for Alley it was 04-07, while for AEH it was 08-11.

It’s amazing how AEH and Text Area were two different worlds too. Like, there were a shot ton of people in the “new emcee area” and “text area” and I never knew of this whole other world in AWH and a third in The Alley

I was text only never ventured out and I regret it because there is some great stories.
