My son...
I'm here as a fly on the table, but We're bound in essence.
Conceived to expound My message;
in you, all that is beautiful and true has found enfleshment.
So regal, how you hold a chalice.
Above these earthly kings; you're destined for the crown of heaven.
On your every last word they feast;
your parables worth more than a Pharisee's thousand lessons.
My luminous prince...
Soon you'll be a king and unite scattered nations inside you;
eradicate he who denies you;
reward those humble warriors willing to brave lives of truth.
You look at Judas; heart gushing sympathy;
these rocky passages the waters of fate need to wind through.
Gentle like Mary - wrathful like Me.
Come Har Megiddo they will witness the flames these skies produce.
My lamb, how it pains Me so...
To see you smiling with perfect knowledge of what is to come;
the blood that will run.
With duty, and compelled by a bottomless love is My son.
Braced for these Roman swords to draw,
accost you and your confidants like petty thugs on the run.
Your only crime: fulfillment of the law.
Woe to these blind hearts called to shed the blood of My chosen one.
My embodied Word...
Disciples consume your body in the bread that you break up.
These debts you will take up;
your blood is new life for the wayward descendants of Jacob.
And pagans far and wide.
You wear the flaking armor of man, but it's My essence you're made of.
All the sorrow you hide;
keeping a brave face for this race you've been sent for the sake of.
This is My beloved son, with whom I am well pleased...
The wicked will treat your gospel as something trite as a fable.
With lies, they'll debase you,
and attempt to convince your flock that there's no prize for the faithful.
No denying the Good News of
the Messiah sent to speak to man in ways I am not able.
I look upon you, prideful as the Lion of Judah.
But as humble as this diminutive fly on the table.
Why would Yahweh give His only child to the sons of Adam?
Out of a love too deep for beings of flesh and blood to fathom.
A love for creation so vast, He'd give a piece of Himself to expunge the devil's ransom.
Christ - the living Torah - reflection of the One that commands him.
