I think this is my 3rd fav Kendrick album behind Good Kid Maad City and To Pimp A Butterfly and ahead of Damn
Still absorbing it all tho obviously. It might move up still. Reminds me a lot of To Pimp a Butterfly as a cohesive work with a poetic, jazzy vibe. I was hoping for more big name rapper features at first, but this is a deeply personal work and i like living in his brain for a while.

but this feels like a 30 something rapper making music for 30 somethings
Kinda everything people said about 4:44 applies to this except I thought 4:44 was kinda boring outside a few standout tracks
but then maybe thats cuz i was the young person wanting bangers back then

love it, not much more to say tbh. I can't rank anything this quickly because recency bias will have me overreacting
gonna take a while to determine favorites and shit since it's a double disc. it definitely feels like a sequel to TPAB
