Few parts that stood out
When one hurts another, they distract themselves so they don’t have to deal with the guilt of doing something bad to another person. Great point. You included a real life example on this as well.

Some ideas
Smoke a fatty live during your podcast.. simplest way that is honest that can create interest
Not saying that is the way,just saying its A way to stimulate further interest
