    Gym Karens are the shittiest because you SHOULD drop the weight on a deadlift.

    There's very little benefit to the eccentric phase of a deadlift. It's just unnecessary and heightens the risk of injury.

    Most back issues are usually a result of the eccentric phase.

    I got a sharp pain in my back lowering the bar doing Stiff Legs.

    Getting mad at somebody for dropping the weight is stupid and evil.

    But my hamstrings are looking thick and lickable so I can back off the deads for awhile.

    Do you sexy chads drop the weight or nah?

    I need to get rubber weights for real.. I do deadlifts at home and be mad paranoid about cracking the cast iron plates

    Just keep a thick yoga mat or some of those interlocking foam pads from 5-below underneath the plates when doing deadís and you should be fine.

    As far as dropping the weight, if itís under 365-ish, youíre not repping to failure, or youíre not injured, just hold it and go down as normal. With that said, anyone who thinks you should place the weights down without a sound can fuck off.

    And for OP. Go to a gym that allows deadlifting and people canít say shit. PF doesnít even allow DF lmao. Rubber weights are great though. We have some of them at my job in the gym I built. Would like more. But we also have a matted platform for DF so itís good. Iíll be doing this today actually.
