1st post, I merely linked the track and said I'd heard bad things about it but was in the middle of listening still.

2nd post, I admitted Game impressed me with his writing, but nothing hit hard to me. But I do hope Em responds cuz I love Em diss tracks. I suppose that could be perceived as dick riding. Enjoying diss tracks from arguably the greatest technical rapper with the best collection of disses of all time just seems logical to me.

3rd post, I remembered the bit about Game claiming Em "never understood cadence" and pointed out how I thought it was funny because even in his poor man's imitation of Em's style, Game couldn't quite pull it off flow wise. That's just a fact. it's right there in the song.

That's cuz he's mocking Em's style. Tryna make fun of it and prove it isn't hard to rap like Em at the same time.










Anyway, I think the track would have been iller if he dropped the Stan/Mathew Mitchell aspect of it. That shit was extra corny to me. And if anything, it only reveals the depths of Game's knowledge about Em's music despite claiming he only ever really listened to one of Em's albums in this very song.

Rap is a meh endeavor now that commercialized bubble-gum dorks like Drake took over.

I even saw kill-shot re-posted on MGK's site (I hate MGK, by the way), and in the credits there's multiple lyricists listed...his producer helped ghost write it. To me the whole art of rap revolves around the pen in situations like that...dafuq

I've had that argument with Res who claims every rapper, including Em, has used ghost writers

Some random dude just got a Diamond plaque for Curtain Call 1 cuz he had writing credits on the song Like Toy Soldiers

people freaked out thinking the Rap God had committed the ultimate sin

But in truth, the dude had only written part of the original song that Like Toy Soldiers sampled

There are a lot of ways to get a writing credit
