Believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see.
Game has a much more consistent catalogue than Em
nobody is arguing that.
Em outside his prime run is hit or miss, with really high highs, and pretty low lows. A lot like Wayne. He takes big swings. Game makes west coast gangsta rap. Modernized. Evolved slightly. But that's what he does. And he does it pretty well. But the degree of difficulty is much lower. Em has far more memorable moments and songs post 2010 than Game does. Game never reinvented himself. And he never started pushing boundaries or changing it up significantly artistically. This Em diss is prolly the most high concept and out there song I've heard from him. Typically you know what you're getting from Game and after a while people get bored.
He's selling 19k first week. With like 30 tracks, 31 features and a 10 minute Eminem diss. Em's Greatest Hits album did better numbers and a greatest hits album in 2022 is basically a playlist of shit you've already heard before.
I'd imagine Game's album is pretty good overall tbh.
I'll get to it eventually

Also Hitboy (the producer of The Black Slim Shady) came out and distanced himself from the diss. He said he only had heard and worked on the first half which was paying homage to Em and thats the part he fucks with. He wasn't part of the other half of the song. Supposedly.
I see yall are mostly done talkin about it
but what did game mean when he said "God made you damn near perfect, except your soul"
lool it struck me really funny when I heard it. And it has been rattling around in my brain ever since. Weird thing to say
