So is it really a thing that people mistakenly use the word “rather” instead of “whether”?

For example, the other day this hot chick at work said, “I’ll have to decorate outside rather it’s cold or not.” I didn’t correct her because she’s just dumb and can’t help it. She also recently told me she loves Margot Robbie, and the T wasn’t silent.

I’ve seen people do it on here though, and I thought it was one of those troll things like “mines well” or “to eaches own”, but now after hearing it in real life I’m not so sure.

Mines well is more of a culture thing for blacks. Light as well is more of a thing for us light skin folks.
