I think if you’re older than gen z (30 older group) there are more fast car movies and culture you’re associated with like fast and furious 1 and gone in 60 seconds etc.

If different people randomly are given different barometers, that kind of fails the threshold of accuracy. They should have been given the same number of inches/centimeters to measure against their own, THEN took that data and see who had the affinity for fast cars and who did not.
