I like the horror comedy genre also I think Micheal myers was a vigil anti

I too like the the horror comedy genre. Don't know of too many though

But I dont include movies like "scary movie" in that genre. Because its overall aim is 90% goofy and is mainly a parody not a horror.

More like cabin in the woods, lake placid, evil dead 1&2 types of movies

some more dark comedies

yeah what we do in the shadows was funny, i even enjoyed most of the tv series. Last season not so much but it was good shit for sure.
army of darkness i was including with my evil dead 1&2 since its essentially the 3rd movie and i liked it a lot when it came out. Saw it a few times

i saw people under the stairs once when it came out so i was just a young teen and barely remember it now but i definitely didnt catch the comedy when i was young, will have to re-watch

would the original "the burbs" count? i remember seeing that a few times too and it being funny/comedic

yes, the burbs is a dark comedy for sure

Scary movie 6 was bad but I liked the ending

if youre lookin for some dumb shit to watch with your old lady, "widows bay" was a lil bit funny and was kind of a horror

I watched Insidious Out Of the Further this weekend. I thought it was pretty good. Wont give up any spoilers, but it was cool seeing how they had some of the characters from earlier movies reprise their roles and some cool quick appearances from others to add some additional fan fare.

I watched the red door and remember hating it. . so much in fact that everything about it has flushed clear of memory. This new one has characters you can invest in and care about along with good funhouse type scares. Not SCARY but fun scares.

I also watched Onslaught. Not really a horror more even though it keeps popping up on the radar as a horror movie. Its more like Universal Soldier with just a little more gore. It was lower budget, but entertaining. Basically another super soldier gone wrong type of movie, but had some enjoyable kills in it.

I watched backrooms.... convinced me its writer did a lot of psychadelic drugs... didnt get that same feeling from the old YouTube clips
