Driving a Tesla is embarrassing at this point

Post by Big Homey Urb »

There is zero prestige with that brand, due to the owner/founder being quite literally the lamest dude on the planet. The old saying “money can’t unlame a lame” rings true when it comes to him.

When I see someone in one, I assume they can’t drive and I assume they drink mocktails and soy based beverages. Probably can’t fight, probably a cuck, and probably wears thong sandals to the airport.

How you supposed to protect your family from a threat wearing some fucking sandals?

I disagree, I don’t think it’s that serious

As the world is moving towards electric, I don’t think there’s a narrow box you can put a Tesla driver in

I do think it’s good to look into different brands tho

Other car brands need to start competing with their own

I think teslas are kinda ugly, and in my city it seems everyone bought a white one, was there only two color options? The other being black. Every Tesla i see is white or black. Ive seen a pearlescent pink one too. Looks stupid lol

My buddy bought a $100k tesla for 50k when everyone was selling them because musk was being a dipshit. He says it does weird shit like brakes at weird times and the auto steering sometimes goes funky on the hwy. Also to drive from Calgary to vancouver he had to stop 3 or 4xx to juice his battery which extended the 11hr drive several more hrs.

Im not sold on EVs... but our dipshit government has made some dumb rule that by 2035 all brand new cars being sold in the city have to be electric. I think big dumb trudeau made them do it... i havent seen them building charging stations yet... so they have 8 yrs to get on that

It’s very serious for car guys. Just like food is serious to you, but might not move the needle much for everyday ppl if you say White Castle is barely a real burger.

This makes no sense lol. There is no “one box fits all” car guy. Someone could own a beautiful vintage vehicle just for the look and drive, and not be a nerd when it comes to electronics or being a mechanic nerd.

Just cuz you don’t fw Teslas and put all the drivers in a little box, doesn’t mean everyone else does.

Also, I’m in Lafayette right now.. do you know where I can get the best Gumbo? I’m kinda really into gumbo

Laura’s II for sure. I would not recommend eating gumbo this time of the year. I was just in Houston last weekend and it was hot as fuck and that’s basically the same region. You might get sick if you eat it while it’s warm out and you plan to be ripping and running all day.

I caught so many strays lmao.

I drive a Tesla S every day, commuting about 22 minutes there and back.

There are three things I really appreciate about it:

1) commuting makes a person make about 100 micro decisions (stop, go, merge, signal, let someone into the lane, speed, etc.) and since we only have a finite number of quality decisions a day, I let the full self drive do all the work and reduce the number of micro decisions by at least 90 percent.

2) there is no car in existence that is street legal that can beat me off the line. That is just a fact, I’ve smoked every super car you can imagine. Tesla S is king of speed, 0-60.

3) it’s one of the few cars that you can’t tell about a persons wealth, its super discrete in that way. You can drive a Tesla and be poor or be a billionaire.

I’m the opposite of everything he said lol. But I also see people fitting that exact description too.

My Tesla is that dark grey color but I am going to wrap it in the blue grey satin color or maybe emerald.
