Never said it was a negative. He just made music for soft people like Drake because he’s soft. I won’t deny his appeal and popularity, but the argument that he’s gangsta doesn’t hold weight with me when his history says he’s scared of conflict, has only been on the receiving end of that lifestyle, and compared to people with history in the game he’s one of the fakest people. I’m sure he has goons like Drake does, but both them softer than charminBig Moose wrote:Are you white?Zyc wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2026 2:08 pmI mean, nobody disputes what Jay and Biggie did. There’s criminal records for both, federal investigations into Jay. 50 getting stabbed/shot doesn’t really make him a gangsta, Pastor Troy pointed that out.Big Moose wrote:I’m not saying 50 is the most gangsta human of all time
I’m saying he’s really like that and his image was realer than most
50 did more of what he said he did than Jay for example
Jay was playing a part.
Maybe that young kid bee bop fast rapping while Big L takes breaks was really a drug kingpin. Prolly not tho.
50 is exactly who he says he is.
And it translates to the music which really is the only reason it matters I suppose
I wouldn’t put 50 above Jay Big or Big L, but he did make some catchy tunes for clubs and white girls to fantasize about.
All personal preference I suppose

What is negative about "white" girls liking someone's music?
Why is it a negative to be able to make music that men of various colors enjoy AND make music that a dreaded "white" girl would like?
Do you think Big L would have made a massive smash hit like In Da Club or 21 Questions if he was able and in position?
Or would he say NAH THATS FUCKIN GAY. I DONT WANT TO BE A MILLIONAIRE AND LIVE MY LIFE
I WILL ONLY MAKE MUSIC FOR BLACKS AND WIGGERS AND DIE ON THE STREET LIKE A REAL GANGSTA
Guess he got what he wanted then.
