Bro I am in such a weird place that I don’t know how to move. I went from AMG and pateks to a Tesla and Apple Watch. I went from making high 6 figures to taking an offer with high base AND 14M of over 4 (one year cliff) in just equity (not including performance or refreshers).

I can literally go buy any car or watch I want and yet I feel so guilty walking into work with anything flashy because there are hourly employees there just trying to make it.

I think in the future I’ll get something light like a nice Porsche or maybe S63 performance. But I don’t know if I’ll ever drive a semi expensive car to work. I’d feel shame :(.
lol take it a step further and fuck a Apple Watch go get a Garmin watch lol

Man this shit got me optimizing my health like a mf’er

Yeah man that’s the biggest shit

That one day battery life is ass

The Garmin watch goes like 12 days on charge

I even sleep with it on because I be tracking my sleep and all that.. breaks down REM sleep and all that better than the Oura rings. Tracks workout zones better than the Apple Watch and provides better recovery analytics.

But I mean if you have a Whoop too than that’s essentially all you need lol

I drive a Tesla S every day, commuting about 22 minutes there and back.

There are three things I really appreciate about it:

1) commuting makes a person make about 100 micro decisions (stop, go, merge, signal, let someone into the lane, speed, etc.) and since we only have a finite number of quality decisions a day, I let the full self drive do all the work and reduce the number of micro decisions by at least 90 percent.

2) there is no car in existence that is street legal that can beat me off the line. That is just a fact, I’ve smoked every super car you can imagine. Tesla S is king of speed, 0-60.

3) it’s one of the few cars that you can’t tell about a persons wealth, its super discrete in that way. You can drive a Tesla and be poor or be a billionaire.

Been here since Thursday, first 2 days was unbearable heat lol, the last 2 have been great

Had gumbo 2 times, first it was okay, and the 2nd had it at Willie Mae’s and the Gumbo was crazy
Lafayette food goes absolutely crazy but damn Sunday is a tough day, those folks are serious about church down there. I’m glad you finally got out there for that Cajun experience.

I’ll be very honest tho, the food here has been super overrated. I also learned the longer the line, the shittier the food

Maybe I’m just not crazy about heavy, greasy, salty food

I’m an ingredient person. I like a good cut of meat, well cooked veg, a well cooked starch

When you start mixing random shit into a sauce and pouring it over shit, I’m not crazy about that

Also I realized people are more emotional about the history of an establishment than actually rating the food on a technical level
Lmao you just described etouffe

If you get a chance, try some yakamein. I think you might fuck with it. It’s something a lot of ppl haven’t been put on to yet, but it’s a New Orleans staple

Lmao why I feel like they came out with this new Tesla just because of the Q50 situation

I’m tryna think why else you need a Tesla that backflips

the point of the 'backflip' demonstration was to show the strength of the fan suction technology.

Imaging racing through a course and being able to take a corner at flat out speeds without ever lifting your foot off the gas.

And if things get hairy and the car loses control, it can literally propel itself and make a safe soft landing

i realize this is all pretty impractical for daily driving, but from a sheer engineering perspective its really impressive stuff.

are you suggesting that a 'regular' car would have resisted the bullet penetration more?

Or are you saying he was targeted because he was driving a Tesla?

Im not familiar at all with the Q50 shooting . . . i dont even know who the guy was.

Nah they talking about the feature where you can’t drive off unless the car is unlocked and your seat belt is on

That feature actually in a lot more regular cars than just Tesla’s

That’s why it would of been perfect if he could of back flipped away lol
